Beef and broccoli

Ingredients
- 1¼ lb flank steak
- 2 heads broccoli
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger
- 1½ cups jasmine rice
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Method
- Start the rice. Slice the beef thinly against the grain and toss with 1 tbsp cornstarch.
- Sear the beef in batches in hot oil; set aside. Stir-fry the broccoli 3 minutes with a splash of water.
- Add garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce and sugar, then the beef. Toss until glossy.
- Serve over rice.
