Ingredients

  • 3 lb pork shoulder
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 oranges
  • 2 limes
  • 16 corn tortillas
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 1 white onion
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Method

  1. Cut the pork into large chunks and rub with cumin, oregano and plenty of salt.
  2. Put in the slow cooker with the sliced onion, garlic, and the juice of the oranges and one lime. Cook on low 8 hours.
  3. Shred the pork, spread on a sheet pan with a little of the juices and broil until crisp at the edges.
  4. Serve in warm tortillas with diced white onion, cilantro and lime.
